This was an amazing experience! Tomoko is a wonderful host and provided us with great hospitality and information on the subject of painting dragons as well as their history! She was very accommodating and worked with my schedule to allow me to come. The whole experience left me with the biggest smile on my face! I would recommend this experience if you want a relaxing and cultural experience while creating some amazing art work with a master! (America)

I already attended four classes by Ms Tomoko sase. Her teaching does not only include sumie and painting practice but also gives profound knowledge about the tradition and meanings of Japanese traditional art. Ms Sase talks excellent English and motivates even beginners to fulfill a meaningful painting in the first lesson. Her teaching themes are not only bamboo drawing, but doll drawing, landscape,dragon, flowers, fish,too! I highly recommend this experience. (Switzerland)

この講師の教室にもう4回も通いました。彼女のクラスは、ただ単に実技的な体験ではありません。日本の伝統におけるその芸術の意味や意義などについても同時に講義を受けることができます。講師は流暢な英語を話し、初心者に対しても、最初から意味を知った上での制作に導いていきます。

私が習った事といえば、竹、雛人形、山水、龍、花、さかなです。この講師の授業をとにかくおすすめしたいと思います。(スイス)

まさか、3時間半で出来ると思わなかった！

すごく楽しかったですし、完成した水墨画も思っていたよりずっと満足する仕上がりで驚きでした。私も、ご一緒させていただた方も、水墨画は初めて！でも「楽しい～♪」と言い合いながら、笑いも多々ありながら、色紙に龍を描けてしまいましたよ!!

テキストも丁寧で、龍の歴史、水墨画での描き方、描き順、さまざまな龍の種類などを教えていただきました。

全くの初心者でも、まず龍の各部の描き方を練習するので安心です。

Great experience!!!

Tomoko is an amazing teacher and a great artist, and at the same time very lovely and modest person. She makes ink painting accessible to beginners like us by teaching step by step simple techniques. We had a great time, so much that we came back for another lesson. We now found a new inspiration and we're able to appreciate even more the masters of the Japanese ink painting art.
