Dr. Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Punjab, India. Before joining Thapar, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Amity University Punjab, India, and also as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. Dr. Singh has also worked as a Research Mentor with CL Educate Ltd- Accendere Knowledge Management Services.

Dr. Singh has worked with the Department of Statistics at Amity University Punjab, Mohali, India as an Assistant Professor from Oct 2021-Oct 2022.
He has taught courses on Theory of Probability and Statistics to the students of B.Tech. CSE, B.C.A., B.A. Economics and Psychology.

Assistant Professor-Chandigarh University
Dr. Singh worked with the Department of Mathematics at Chandigarh University, Punjab, India, as an Assistant Professor from July 2018-Oct 2021.
He taught courses on Statistics, Theory of Computation and R-statistical Lab to M.Sc. Mathematics students.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he served as the Research Coordinator of the Department, overseeing more than 70 faculty members and 60 research scholars. His role involved encouraging faculty members, research scholars, and students to participate in research activities. He coordinated with higher authorities, strategically working towards research targets such as increasing the number of research publications, citations, patents, and funding projects. He was involved in planning and executing activities relevant to the documentation and progress of research scholars. Under his tenure, more than 200 research papers were published in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals.
Dr. Singh successfully coordinated with higher authorities to initiate the M.Sc. Data Science Program in the Department of Mathematics during the July 2020 session. The program received an excellent response, with all available seats being filled.
Additionally, Dr. Singh served as a member of the Research Degree Committee (RDC) in Mathematics and the Board of Studies.
He served as the organizing secretary for the 3rd National Conference on Recent Developments in Mathematical Modeling and Fuzziology ( M2FZY-III) held on 13th November 2019, which attracted more than 100 participants. He also held the position of publicity chair and was responsible for all e-communication and paper submissions for the International Conference on Functional Materials and Simulation Techniques (ICFMST-2019) held on 7-8th June 2019, which saw the participation of more than 400 attendees.
Research Mentor- CL Educate Ltd.-AKMS
Dr. Singh worked as a Research Mentor with CL Educate Ltd.- Accendere Knowledge Management Services (AKMS) for one-year period, July 2016-August 2017.
His role involved coordinating a program to foster a culture of research at Manav Rachna International University, having 200 B.Tech. students and 15 Faculty members .
During this time, he provided insights into the new initiatives and encouraged students toward research. In the span of one-year, 15 papers were published/communicated by B.Tech. second-year students under his guidance.
Tutorial Classes-IIT Patna
During his PhD at Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna), Sukhdev Singh has also taken tutorial classes for the students of B.Tech, and simulation lab for the students of M.Tech.
