Sujith Mangalathu is a researcher in the field of machine learning, graph networks, risk assessment, and disaster management. He obtained his Ph.D from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in 2017.  

His research is focused on the application of machine learning techniques for the risk assessment of structural and infrastructure systems. He strives to develop innovative methods for regional risk assessment using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.

Sujith Mangalathu is a recipient of the prestigious Nevada Medal for Bridge Engineering in 2017. He is the bronze medalist winner of the first machine learning-based image challenge competition organized by the University of California, Berkeley in 2018.   He is also an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect and Machine learning specialty.
