I am a learner of chemistry with a penchant for inorganic aspects. As a professional, I teach in both graduate and post-graduate levels. My research interests include the synthesis of coordination compounds involving especially redox non-innocent ligands and the combination of experimental results and its theoretical interpretation at the structure-property interface based on their electronic structure. Syntheses and Magnetic Properties of Exchange-Coupled 3d-3d, 4f-3d and 4f- Imino Systems are my other area of research.
I completed my Ph.D. from the group of Professor Sreebrata Goswami at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Serampore College, affiliated to the University of Calcutta.
