Research Interests: My current research interests include applications of Multispectral (e.g. Landsat 7/8, Sentinel 2 etc.) and Hyperspectral (e.g. AVIRIS, EO-1 Hyperion, ROSIS etc.) Remote Sensing images for Land Cover and Crop Classification, Vegetation Condition Monitoring, and Estimation of Biophysical (i.e. Leaf Area Index, Biomass) and Biochemical (i.e. Chlorophyll and Nitrogen Content) Variables using Advanced Statistical or Machine Learning (e.g. Support Vector Machine, Random Forest Classifiers etc.) or Deep Learning (e.g. Stacked Auto-Encoder, Convolutional Neural Network, Convolutional Auto-Encoder etc.) Techniques.
