  • Syllabus: Atomic spectra by constant deviation spectrometer; polarization, Fraunhofer diffraction and Bragg diffraction using microwave; Holography: construction of the hologram and reconstruction of the object beam; Zeeman effect; X ray diffraction; Radioactive decay: counting statistics; Optical fiber: mode field diameter and numerical aperture, bend loss measurement; superconducting, ferroelectric and ferromagnetic transitions, characterization of quantum dot structures.
