Applications are invited for a position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a DST-SERB funded project in the area of Theoretical/Computational Physics entitled “Phenomenology with Exotic Particles - Probing Physics Beyond the Standard Model at the Large Hadron Collider”. The project involves theoretical and computational studies of exotic new particles/models and identifying ways to observe them at particle colliders like the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN.
Qualification
Master’s Degree in Physical/Mathematical Sciences or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks. Preference will be given to candidates qualified in a national level examination (i.e., NET, GATE, JEST, JAM etc.) and/or some research experience. Interested candidates with degree in other branches (e.g. Computer Science) may also apply.
