I recently started my second postdoctoral position at Oregon State University, studying the dynamics of oyster populations with both data analysis and model building.

I was previously a postdoctoral fellow in the mathematics department at William & Mary.

My interests are varied, but generally focus around using mathematics to inform sustainable management and/or conservation of vulnerable populations (for example, overharvested fish populations).

I am interested in:

• Chaotic/nonlinear dynamical systems
• Evaluation of ecosystem and population models
• Critical transitions and ecosystem stability
• Nonparametric population modeling
• Pattern formation in spatially extended populations
