The Stonehill College Dance Club is the largest club on the Stonehill College Campus, with an average of 60 members each semester. This student-run club hires professional dance teachers who teach classes in different styles of dance each week right in our studio spaces on campus. The styles of dance currently taught include jazz, tap, ballet/pointe, modern/contemp., lyrical, and hip-hop! Classes meet once a week for ten weeks each semester, and culminate in a recital that showcases the hard work of our students. Our club is open to everyone, regardless of experience, which allows lifelong dancers as well as newbies to join without any pressure! The inspiration and intention behind the Stonehill College Dance Club is to promote the stylistic art of dance here at Stonehill College while maintaining a fun and inclusive environment, as well as to provide our members with a variety of styles to choose from.
