This my  "Tell it like it is bit "......Some of the Metal items we sell are end of the line or manufacturers returns, all are from big name manufacturers and importers, they represent great value for money compared to what you would pay in most Garden Centres and more often than not are from the same Importer....but please bear in mind that most of these items are made down to a cheap price in China. The paint finish on many of the metal items is very thin and we recommend that you assume it to be an undercoat and paint it with an exterior metal paint asap. They will fade in bright sunlight and will rust quickly if left in the rain, you can spray them with WD40 or clear Lacquer, that may help but I can`t guarantee it, at least you would have paid a fair price for it.

In the 60`s 70`s and 80`s this was a thriving business, thousands of people visited every year, similar outlets, antique dealers and reclaim yards were all over the country, around the year 2000, for reasons unknown we all went through a massive downturn, many gave up or went bust, come for a visit you`ll be surprised what we have to offer,  if you`re not in Essex, see if anyone is left near you, go and visit and give them a bit of support, I would guess that within a few years none of these quirky places will be left.

We specialise in traditional hand crafted reproduction stone antique finishes, as seen in many Reclaim yards, Antique centers, Garden centres, Farm shops and Nurseries in and around the UK.

These premises have been owned and traded from by our family since 1962, many online retailers do not actually have the item advertised, many trade from rented premises with no show site, they don`t really know what the item is made of, here today, gone tomorrow, they have never made, touched or lifted it, they buy to order, probably never seen the item only in photo`s.....come and see what your buying.
