Port City Enterprises' philosophy is to enable persons with disabilities to live and work as independently as possible by providing necessary support for that person to maintain his or her placement of residence and/or employment.

Seminarian Support
In 2012, the Council re-instituted its practice of providing monies to help support seminarians that will eventually be stationed in the Diocese of Baton Rouge. Each year, two seminarians are selected with assistance from the Office of Vocations, and they are recognized with $750 stipends at one of our summer meetings. Seminarians currently being supported are Albert Blount and Joseph Bergan. The Council is very pleased that one of our early recipients - Fr. Ryan Hallford is assigned here in our diocese.
