Original Artwork

I've been drawing for most of my life, but got real serious about it in 2002 as I was dealing with and recovering from back and neck surgery. I participated in multiple art guilds and community art fairs during a 6 year period...it's been awhile since I've acknowledge this part of my creativity, thought I'd share them with you here. This page will evolve as I add more examples so stay tuned...and hopefully I'll create some new pieces soon.

"Like an Old Rock" - Pen & Ink"; from a series of 'Things That Don't Work' - an old Chevy farm truck in Arlington, WA (Framed original available)

"The Enduring Kiss" - Pen & Ink; wolves mate for life...this composition was meant to capture that feeling. (Framed original available)

"Spirit in the Wind" - Pen & Ink w/Colored Pencil; Bald Eagles inspire me and I feel fortunate to live in an area where I experience them frequently...they definitely are a powerful spirit in the wind. (Framed original available)

"From the Inside" - Pen & Ink w/Water Color; from the series 'Things That Don't Work' this old abandoned Dodge Powerwagon caught my eye.

"Night Guardian Morning Messenger" - Pen & Ink w/Colored Pencil; a combination that seemed to make sense to me at the time. Both are watchers and hunters.

"Coyote Moon" - Pen & Ink

"The Forgotten Giant" - Pen & Ink; an amazing cedar stump I found in the Mt.Baker Snoqualimie forest - you could fit more than 10 people inside!

"TeSasha on the Back Deck" - Pen & Ink with Colored Pencil; Sasha was a beautiful 165lb Wakon Giant Malamute who had a gentle heart and soul (I miss her)
