Guest Flat on the Bob Woodruff, Alabama River Lake, located between Montgomery and the Robert F. Henry Lock and Dam 

A Room With a View.  This private, one bedroom, two bathrooms, 1320 sq. ft. upstairs flat, is located off a scenic, graded dirt road on the beautiful Alabama River in Lowndes County. Nearby are the historic cities of Lowndesboro and Hayneville.

The guest bedroom has a private sliding door entrance and ensuite bathroom.  The bedroom has a queen-sized bed laid with a 10" memory foam mattress. The main open space of the apartment has a twin daybed with a trundle bed underneath. The two twins have 8" memory foam mattresses.  The apartment has central heating and air conditioning. The kitchen and dining areas are open-plan. A small refrigerator, a washer and dryer are here for your convenience. There is no cable tv but the internet service is a 100 mbs fiber optic connection. Cell coverage is poor to nonexistent.  I don't have liability insurance so everyone will have to agree to sign a waiver before they can stay here.

Bring a canoe or kayak if you have one, I have an extra one to use while you're here.  If you are adventure paddling the on Alabama Scenic River Trail drop in from the river.  My guesthouse is for friends and colleagues only so you will know how to contact me.  Map directions.
