**** DISCONTINUED ****

While it is difficult to demonstrate "force feedback" performance without actually putting your hands on the wheel itself, I have included as much relevant information as I can below to help you can an understanding of what you would expect.

I would say this wheel definitely feels better when you don't try to crank the torque up too high.  It is much smoother with lower average torque but the additional headroom you get for curb and road bumps etc works very well.  When the average torque of the wheel is set too high you begin to feel the torque ripple of the stepper motor as you turn the wheel against the heavy opposite torque.  This is more obvious the faster the wheel is turned.  Even so at moderate torque levels the wheel feels quite heavy so unless you really like a hard workout while driving the stepper sim wheel does a good job.  If your main desire is to have a wheel with extreme torque capability I would suggest you look at the more expensive servo wheel options.  When I talk about reducing the wheel torque I mean the game output.  You always want the wheel to be able to produce the maximum available torque when necessary to be able to reproduce dynamic changes in the wheel feedback.
