1. I grew up in Houston, TX.
2. I am very happily married! [pic]
3. I spoke Mandarin Chinese growing up, am conversational in Libyan Arabic, can speak a little Amharic and Spanish, and know a tiny bit of Bahasa Melayu as well.
4. I love making music -- acappella, guitar, violin, piano, and anything else I can get my hands on.
5. I enjoy basketball, ultimate frisbee, and snowboarding.
6. I try to live out the intersection of cultural anthropology and theology.
7. I have two children who each live up to their name(sake)s.
