Being a Human-Computer Interaction researcher I explore various types of technologies and how they might affect humans' lives. I evaluate whether people are able to use new tools and gadgets, and investigate aspects that could potentially increase their overall user experience. While lately my work has mainly focused on speech and natural language based interfaces, I am still very much interested in all kinds of interaction modalities, particularly in those that promise novel and more exciting ways of handling modern computing technology.
