Maps

Using information from 18th century manuscripts, some of which we have transcribed, we have produced maps of the locations of the British Army in the decade after the Battle of Culloden (16 April 1746). These locations are known by the military term 'Cantonment', encompassing barracks, fortified buildings and camps.
