What is Stem Education ?
STEM education is a special curriculum that is focused on science, technology, engineering, and math. STEM education is different form other curriculums. With STEM, theory and actual practice go hand in hand. In other words, students actually get a chance of applying what they learn in the classroom in a professional manner. We do not only train to be professionals, but we train like them.

Why is STEM Education important?
Our world is run by technology. Technology like our computers, smartphones, tablets, smart TV's, and wearables entertain, inform, and communicate us. Consumer electronics are just the tip of the iceberg when discussing about tecnological advances. Today's technology has allowed to improve medical procedures, venture in environmental explorations, experiment with different methods of efficient transportation, and improve on green energy. You know what all those fields have in common? Most professionals behind improving the world's infrastructure have a STEM-based career.
STEM is pretty much everywhere we look. From the electricity that our house consumes to the food we eat, STEM controls our daily lives. It is no surprise that the amount of STEM related jobs will increase considerably more than those outside STEM. Clearly, our future depends on STEM. As a result, educating the next generations of scientists, engineers, and mathematicians is paramount for improving the world's infrastructure.
How can STEM education shape the future?
A STEM education has the potential of changing the course of human civilization. STEM is responsible for the scientific breakthroughs that keep our modern world safe and stable, but it also plants the seeds for future advancements that will likely help perpetuate the human race. Today, as limited as our knowledge is, we are capable of extraordinary things. For instance, a few days ago, a man in England was cured of HIV.Now, a week before, a baby was born with the genes of three differnt people. Both of those advancements were made in the field of medicine but thousands of other discoveries are being made constantly in many other fields. STEM is already changing the course of history. At this rate, science-fiction will merge with reality. Everything that we thought impossible will become common practice.
