Eggs are delicious whether they are hard boiled, in an omelet, or even just an ingredient in a chocolate cake recipe. However, eggs can also help us explain a difficult concept of physics: Impulse and Momentum. By throwing an egg at two barriers (a door and a sheet), we are able to witness impulse and momentum in action.
Through this experiment we will be able to answer the driving question:
How are momentum and impulse involved in the collision between the egg and the sheet/the wall?
