Our topic is Double Bounce Ball. The basic idea of our project is that energy can be neither created nor destroyed, but it can be transferred from one object to another.
The principals of our project is energy can be stored in an object by lifting it to a certain height. This energy is called gravitational potential energy it has and the higher and object is the more gravitational potential energy it has.
The formulas we will be using is U= mgh. (U= gravitational potential energy, m=mass g= gravitational constant and h= height)
Elastic Collisions are collisions in which both momentum and kinetic energy are conserved. The total system kinetic energy after the collision. If total kinetic energy is not conserved, then the collision is referred to as an inelastic collision.
