Sarah Christina Steinert
MMus, HBMus, ORMTA, NATS
Ms. Steinert is professional musician, teacher, adjudicator, and conductor who is actively performing in Canada and internationally. She has 24 years of teaching experience in her private studio, at McGill University, UWO, and Trinity College School, to mention some of many. She is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association and endeavours to provide a positive and encouraging approach to learning. She has two private teaching studios; one located in Waterloo and one in Toronto.
She structures each lesson to meet the individual needs of the student by creating a curriculum that fosters a healthy sound and also provides a well-rounded music education including:

• Diction for Singers: French, English, German, Italian and Spanish
• Style and Interpretation
• Musicianship Skills: Sight Singing and Ear Training

Ms. Steinert's students range from beginner to professional, and they study varying styles including: classical, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary. Many of Ms. Steinert's students have successfully gone on to audition for and gain acceptance into university programs such as those at the University of Western Ontario, the University of Toronto, and Wilfrid Laurier University. They also compete and place in competitions such as the Kiwanis Music Festival, ORMTA, the NYMF, and Apprentice at the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. Many have also successfully auditioned for and performed lead roles with various companies, schools, and many are members of prestigious auditioned ensembles across the GTA such as the CCOC.
