Projects
Health Informatics education and applied research are difficult to separate. Some of my interests stem from the need to solve immediate problems of a technical nature (e.g., connecting distinct information systems or devices that normally do not talk to one another), repairing various mechanical and electronic devices. I encounter such problems on a regular basis in my explorations of relevant applications of information technology to healthcare. Often, the solutions to these problems often provide me with valuable teaching resources and approaches.
