Stefano Verzillo

Welcome to my personal webpage.  I am a Senior Researcher  currently at the European Commission's DG Joint Research Centre (JRC), where I work in the Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation (CC-ME). Since 2012, I have also been Adjunct Professor of Statistical Modeling, Data Mining & Machine Learning at University of Milan-Bicocca. Since 2025, I've joined the Editorial Board of the Southern Economic Journal as an Associate Editor. 

My main research topics are Education and Health Economics, Counterfactual Impact Evaluation, Applied Econometrics. On these topics I have published in various journals, including Econometrica, The Review of Economics and Statistics and The Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A).
