I am an Associate Professor of Finance at the Erasmus School of Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Research Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute, and a visiting researcher at the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics and the German Institute of Employment Research.
I obtained a Ph.D. in Finance in 2014 from the University of Mannheim. My main research interest is in empirical corporate finance with a particular emphasis on payout policy and the real effects of corporate finance on employees. My work on open market share repurchases has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies.
