Welcome to my Website!

I am a financial economist with a focus on corporate finance.  Much of my recent work examines how corporate finance shapes the organization of the firm and its human capital.  My research has also explored share repurchases and their impact on market efficiency and shareholder value.

I am a member of the Finance Group at Erasmus School of Economics, a Research Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute, and a visiting researcher at the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics and the German Institute of Employment Research.

Research interests: M&As, Private Equity, Buybacks, Employee Health, Human Capital, Firm Organization.
