Welcome to my Website! I am a financial economist studying how corporate finance affects markets, firms, and the careers and lives of employees.

A central strand of my work explores how corporate restructuring around IPOs, mergers, and private equity buyouts affects firm organization and employees' human capital. I have also written several papers on payout policy, where I have investigated the role of share repurchases in market liquidity, price efficiency, and equity-based compensation. 

My papers often make use of innovative, large-scale datasets such as administrative census records. My work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Accounting and Economics, and Management Science.

Beyond research, I have developed and taught courses in Corporate Finance, Blockchain Technology, and Empirical Methods at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD level.
