I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Davis and a Research Affiliate at IZA. I earned my PhD in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2017. My primary research interests include family, gender, education, and health economics. I am particularly interested in the relationship between fertility choices and investments in human capital. My current research looks at the effects of family-friendly policies on labor market choices, productivity, family structure, and health outcomes.
