NEVERN

The ten new wheels for the Nevern bells made by Blyth & Co., Church Bell Specialists.  They took approximately two days each to make, the frames are made from Ash, the soling is steam bent ash and the shrouding is sapele which is an African hardwood, Ideal for damp towers (west Wales, near the sea!). The diameters were worked out by the bell hanger, Matthew Higby.
