The St. Cecilia Singers are a choir based in the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are a mixed choir (SATB) of forty members, founded in August 2006 by Anthony Thorley, our musical director.
Our choir is friendly, enthusiastic and accommodating and we are committed to singing choral music to a high standard.
Our performances include an annual Carols by Candlelight concert, oratorios and singing in cathedrals. Recent visits include Tewkesbury Abbey and Exeter, Gloucester cathedrals. and residential weekends at Chester cathedral and York Minster.
The St. Cecilia Singers not only work hard making music, but also help to support a variety of charities by donating money we raise through our concerts.
