During the 20 years that I have been teaching at the University of Edinburgh it has become apparent to me that the major educational challenge in training biologists remains finding ways to engage them with issues of experimental design and statistics. The purpose of this site is to outline my current views on the topic and share my experiences, as well as providing a repository for teaching materials that others may find useful (my own and others).
