NCCTM State Math Contest

An activity of the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics

The North Carolina State Math contest is a network of NC mathematics contests offered in four divisions (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Comprehensive), culminating in state-level final competition. Various NC universities & community colleges offer local qualifying contests, advancing top students to state-level competition. State finals are held concurrently at three sites in the Level 1, 2 & 3 divisions; finals for the Comprehensive division are held at the NC School of Science & Math. We also organize, select, and train NC's ARML teams. ARML is "American Regions Math League," and is the only national, on-site mathematics competition in the U.S.

NEW 2025: All students in Mecklenburg, Union County, or Cabarrus County must take the level 1-3 at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte.
