Golf Cart Community

Star Lake Forest Estates is a golf cart community. The results of our survey on designating our community to be a "golf cart community" was presented to the Putnam County Commission and the Commission did so approve the request.

• Golf carts may only be operated between sunrise and sunset.
• They must be equipped with efficient brakes, reliable steering apparatus, safe tires, a rear-view mirror and reflector warning devices both front and rear.
• Golf carts may not be operated by any person under the age of 14.

This designation DOES NOT include the use of all-terrain vehicles which are illegal to operate on roads in Putnam County.
