Vision Assistance

In 1925 Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness."

Ever since then sight programs have been one of the defining causes of Lions everywhere.

What our club does:

Eyeglass Recycling - Donate your old glasses and change someones' life. Our club collects old glasses to be recycled/repaired and shipped to those in need around the world.

Donation boxes are available at First United Methodist Church of Starkville, and in the International Institute main office on the MSU campus.

You can also Contact the club to arrange to drop off your old eyeglasses and sunglasses.

Vision Assistance- Our club will provide $50 toward the purchase or eyeglasses or the cost of an exam. Just complete the Request for Assistance form and return it to our club. Requests will be granted based on the availability of funds.

Donations- Our club helps support the Lions Sight Foundation of Mississippi with the program money from fund raisers and donations to White Cane.
