We are STAR TOURING & RIDING Chapter #488 West Chicago, IL
Star Chapter #488 was established by a few Star Touring & Riding members that found the need to start a new chapter in order to develop camaraderie and make new riding friends. This task was not easy. In fact, it was a lot of work to find and secure a meeting place, and to set up a chapter with the STAR TOURING AND RIDING ASSOCIATION. On January 16th of 2010 our new charter was signed in. The small group of riders was able the job done thanks to the help of their friends, family, and other Star Chapter members. Many riders came from near and far to celebrate that memorable and joyous day.
We are a family oriented motorcycle riding and social chapter where you make the difference, regardless of what make of motorcycle you ride, or how much riding experience you have.
Our rides are carefully planned and led by one of our two Road Captains.
We have several fun social outings throughout the year.
We often participate in, and donate to, Charity Rides and Events that benefit many causes and people.
We do what we can to help our United States Veterans.
We promote the Riders Helping Other Riders philosophy.
We think you would enjoy riding with us. Come check us out - our meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of every month at Dupage Honda/Yamaha 27W215 North Ave, West Chicago, IL. 60185
