This favorite of many classmates was moved to Thursday (instead of Friday) due to a club scheduling conflict on Friday. Hope you can get to town early and join.

Enjoy a tour of Staples and see how our old school has changed over the years (hint: A LOT). Guided tour will be given by Dan Woog (Staples Graduate and former Staples Varsity Soccer Coach; now publisher of 06880danwoog.com - an online newsletter/app all about Westport).

SATURDAY, JULY 18
Westport Country Playhouse Tour

The “Page to the Stage” tour. History of the theater is covered in the lobby and you will then settle into seats in the theatre to discuss how a play is produced. You will hear about how a play is chosen, what designers do, how actors are cast, and what rehearsals involve. We also get to see set designs, models, and costumes. The group will be able to get up on stage and tour the set of “The Murder of Roger Ackroyd,” (this play opens that evening). Afterwards, you will go through the scene shop, dressing rooms, and the Greenroom. (Tour is given by Bruce Miller and lasts approx. 90 minutes.)
Southport Historic Walking Tour

Step back in time to a bygone era. Learn about the harbor, onion fields, taverns, and the many families who once lived here. Experience Southport then and now. Begins at the Pequot Library.
Westport Museum for History and Culture Tour

$35 per person—50 guests maximum—Westport Museum for History and Culture, 25 Avery Place.
The museum is a humanities organization dedicated to preserving, presenting, and celebrating the history of Westport through immersive design, interactive installations, and dynamic programming. And in honor of our country’s 250th anniversary, the museum features The Real Revolution!, a look at our war for independence through the eyes of those often left out of the story: women, children, refugees, enslaved, and indigenous people—preserving the diverse stories that define the American experience.
COMPO BEACH REUNION!
5:00 pm (Registration Required Above)
$35 per person—60 Compo Beach Rd., South Beach to the right of the cannons. Look for the pizza truck.
Reminisce with old (and aged) classmates at the scene of much of our mischief and fun. Group photo will be attempted.
Includes pizza from pizza truck from 6-8pm.
At the gate, tell them you are with the Class of 1976 Reunion for free entry on Saturday.
Bring blankets, towels, chairs, your memories, etc.
BYOB. Ice bins will be provided, but bring your own beverage, whatever that may be.

Kayaking Tour

This leisurely paddle explores the protected waters of the Saugatuck River and meanders through the mooring fields in Westport Harbor. It's an easy tour that showcases the river's natural beauty and offers views of some of Westport's more impressive waterfront estates. Guides will assist kayakers and provide information about local wildlife and river ecology. Kayakers will use single or double sit-on-top kayaks (your preference) for an hour and a half. Suitable for beginner paddlers. If weather becomes an issue, people will have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
