St. Andrew House is an independently-operated, not for profit 501(c)3 corporation, with a Board of Directors that oversees the community, regulates its membership, and governs its common life.
St. Andrew House is housed in a central location in the city of Providence, which allows members to serve local parishes in whatever ways they might be needed and with whatever individual talents they possess. Such local diocesan service also facilitates the larger project of vocational discernment for the individual members of St. Andrew House.
The historic building itself was originally built in the nineteenth century and has recently been purchased and rehabilitated by a local architect.
Each community member will sign an annual lease-agreement for the rent of his own unit.
The community currently has space for new members.
