Incumbent judges on the state Supreme Court, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court and on the Courts of Common Pleas are subject to retention elections (vote yes or no whether to retain the judge) at the end of a ten-year term. Two Superior Court and two Commonwealth Court judges are in retention elections this year.
