About Ultimate
What is Ultimate?
Ultimate is an exciting, non-contact team sport, played by thousands all over the world over. It mixes the best features of sports such as Soccer, Basketball, and Football into an elegantly simple yet fascinating and demanding game. To compete at the top level, Ultimate players require an unmatched degree of speed, stamina and agility.
You say, "But, I don't know how to throw a frisbee!"
No one does at first! We will teach you everything you need to know in order to play Ultimate to your best ability! You'll be great before you know it!
Dedication
Fall it's more relaxed with four practices a week for two hours learning basic skills and the game with a little bit of conditioning towards the last five weeks of the semester.
Spring semester, we get down to business and really practice hard and learn strategy. We play in important tournaments on a couple weekends throughout the semester.
With good time management it's not hard to work around practice times and school. There are also always girls doing homework in the hotel rooms on the weekends that we have tournaments, although it is possible to do it in advance.
We are a competitive sports team and dedication is key to helping us be stronger and better competition for the other teams who have to face us.
Team Name
Our team name is Stacked because our team is Stacked with players and is a euphemism for an offensive play we use during games
About our Team
Our team consists of 16 dedicated women who come from all different backgrounds but all have a profound love to work hard and compete at every tournament. We also have a few women who love to come and help us out at practices and some tournaments and like to have fun and stay in shape.
This sport is for anyone who wants to have FUN and stay in shape!
