My Levitating Globe
Information
Background:
The levitating globe is able to have the illusion of floating through the law of Lenz. The law of Lenz states that in using electromotive force will generate a current, it goes in the opposite direction of the electromagnetic field to induce a counter electromagnetic field. This in turn cre
ates a current that soon can create a secondary magnetic field, this can make a controlled magnetic force to counteract gravity and will suspend the object.
Materials:
A mirrored disk base
A circular hollow sphere
Magnet able to fit in the globe
Directions:
Place all materials in front of you
Separate the two halves of the spheres
Insert the magnet at the bottom of the globe
Seal the globe
Grab the mirrored disk
Connect the disk into an output
Turn it over and switch the lever into an on position
Grab the globe and place it in the middle of the disk with the globe centered also
Safety:
Warning, do not use the mirrored disk if the wire has been tampered with or is missing.
Do not use near water for the safety from electrocution
Conclusion:
The globe is able to support itself in mid air by using the opposite magnetic fields from keeping it up right. If the magnet is centered right then it is able to push the sphere up while using the natural law of gravity to keep it down.
