Lecture notes

Materials for the lectures and hands-on sessions can be found in this gitHub repository.

Morning presentations will be archived in the LECTURES folder of the gitHub repository. We will be adding the materials gradually during the week.

Materials for hands-on sessions will be stored in folders called Day X, with X corresponding with the ordinal number the session was held on. While the school is still ongoing, please download the materials for corresponding days only if you are instructed to below, to be sure you are getting the most updated versions.

We recommend you create a separate folder for each day where you will put the corresponding hands-on session files (for example for Day 1 you could put all materials in the My Documents/SSDS2019/Day1 folder on your computer).

A laptop computer is required for efficient following of hands-on sessions.

IMPORTANT: Before the first hands-on session, please prepare your platform according to these instructions.

(if you have issues with installing R packages by copy-pasting script lines from the PDF, you can alternatively download the R script with necessary commands here)
