Blackwattle Bay Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) meets at 6:30pm on Monday evenings twice a term (Week 4 and Week 8). All parents and carers of Blackwattle Bay students and the general College community are welcome.
In 2025 meetings will alternate between face-to-face and Zoom or Teams meetings, but the AGM is always face-to-face. To receive the link for online meetings please contact the P&C to join the mailing list.
In-person meetings take place in the Conference Room (near the basketball courts). Enter via Taylor Street.
Blackwattle Bay is the Senior Campus (for students in years 11 & 12) of Sydney Secondary College. The two Junior Campuses (for students in years 7 to 10) are located at Balmain and Leichhardt.

Major areas of P&C funding in 2023 were:

Year 12 Graduation Ceremony $5,500
Visual Arts Exhibition $2,000

Year 12 Learning Conference $2,200
College Bus contribution $5,500
2024 Spending
P&C funding in 2024 once again provided student prizes, venue hire for events and the Learning Conference funding.
Additionally, in 2024 the P&C purchased around $65k of school equipment including:
Outdoor Furniture Settings $44,000
TAS/VET Equipment $14,000
Interactive Smart Whiteboards $5,300
In 2025, the P&C has already funded $21,000 worth of projectors for classrooms, with more spending in the pipeline.
