I am a fourth year Ph.D. student at School of Computer Science, Georgia Tech. I am fortunate to work with Prof. Santosh Vempala. Prior to this, I was a research associate at Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo where I worked with Prof. Shai Ben-David (2014-2015). I received my M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Prof. Nick Harvey (2012-2014) and my B.Sc. in Mathematics at Sharif University of Technology (2007-2012).  My primary research interests are in machine learning, algorithms, and human computation.

I am one of the organizers of Georgia Tech Grad Women @ College of Computing. I have been the student coordinator for Georgia Tech Computer Science visit days for prospective Ph.D. students 2018.
