Tree Lot Chairs

Parent volunteers acting as Overall Tree Lot Organizers and Chairs. Managers are available on call every day to oversee the lot, help with opening and closing, train volunteers, answer questions, and ensure that operations run smoothly. (Lori Roudebush, Michelle Nardone and Jen Chandler)

Day Boss

The Day Boss manages all volunteers and Tree Lot operations for a particular day or shift, making sure that volunteers show up and understand their tasks. Tree Lot Co-Chairs will be available to answer emergency questions. (Adults Only)

Troubleshooter

The Troubleshooter is responsible for assisting the Day Boss and handling any tricky jobs or problems that might come up at the lot, such as coordinating tree restocking, dealing with broken equipment, and teaching students how to tie trees on cars. (Adults Only)

Cashier

The Cashier runs the cash register and credit card machine. (Adults Only)

Sales

The Sales volunteers help customers with the initial phase of the sale, gathering customer information, tagging the tree, moving the tree to the chainsaw area, and directing the customer to the cashier. Sales volunteers also assist with watering and restocking trees.

Load & Tie

The Load & Tie volunteers take the tree from the chainsaw area to the parking lot and tie it on the car. Load & Tie volunteers also assist with watering and restocking trees.

Delivery

Delivery volunteers deliver trees to homes of customers who have paid for delivery. Drivers must be parent volunteers, over the age of 25. Delivery assistants can be students.

Unload

We receive two shipments of trees each season. The Unload team is responsible for getting the trees off the truck and sorting them by size. Unloads are usually performed by students from various athletic teams.

Drill Parent

Drill Sergeant manages the team of volunteers on drill days. Decides which trees to drill, verifies that grommets are installed correctly on the stand buckets, confirms the right size stands are used, and rallies youth volunteers. (Adults Only)

Cleanup

Cleanup volunteers will help shut down the lot at the end of the season, storing equipment, taking inventory, dump runs and tidying up.
