About me:
I have been teaching since 2004, and joined LMS in 2021. I have taught Photography, Spanish and Social Studies over the course of my career. Foreign cultures, languages and points of view have always been a source of fascination to me, and I look forward to trying to expand students' understanding of their world through explorations of such topics and experiences (like going to Italy and dancing with pensioners during a May Day celebration!). I love to travel, and have been to various parts of Europe several times, Venezuela twice, the Caribbean, Canada and all over the United States. Photography has been both a hobby and a career at various points, and I continue to try to improve on my photographic skills in my spare time. I also love reading, music and scuba diving. My current teaching load for the 2021-2022 year is Spanish I to grades 6, 7 and 8, although I have also taught Spanish II , III and IV to high school students as well.
