3. Some of the users suggested that this app should work even when the phone is locked or when the screen is turned off. I wish the same but unfortunately webOS shuts the accelerometer off in lock mode to save the battery life. This app uses accelerometer to count the steps. I am sorry that I cannot help you now but if webOS opens this later, then I will update this app. If you have good GPS signal, it is recommended to track your activity by GPS. The screen can be turned off or the app can be minimized while tracking by GPS.

NOTE:
1. Please visit the Issues page to see how you can save the battery during the use of this app.
2. The app (while tracking by Foot steps ONLY) automatically will go into pause mode if the app is minimized or out of focus. So make sure the app is kept as main card (maximized) in order to keep track of your steps. Also after tapping the Start/Resume button the screen will be turned on until you tap on Stop button.
Pedometer is called as Pedometer Plus+ from version 1.0.0 as it incorporated many other new features. This app will use the Location services (GPS) to track your activities. More sensitivity options for foot step tracking
05/14/2011: v1.5.1 is published. Orientation options are renamed for easier understanding to Portrait and Landscape.
07/15/10: v1.4.1 is under review. In this version, user can restore the back up csv file that was saved before.
06/30/10: v1.3.0 is published. In this version, user have the ability to email their history data as back up. The data is formatted as csv (comma separated value). User need to save that data in a file and name it as file_name.csv.
