Half-Day Mineral Make-up Diploma Course

This course is designed to help beauty therapists and makeup lovers get to grips with mineral makeup techniques and add these beautiful natural products to their treatments. 

Both make-up beginners and make-up artists with no experience of mineral makeup will both benefit from the course, and members of the public who want to learn how to get the best out of mineral make-up are also welcome to attend. 

The course will run on the same days as our Lash & Brow Shaping and Tinting course (or on consecutive evenings), so that students can combine the two and offer a complete beauty package for the clients if they want to do so. 

The course covers:

Skin types 

Mineral versus conventional make-up – advantages for each skin type

Tools and brushes required

Types of mineral makeup product 

Face shapes 

Techniques for eyes and lips, contouring face, shaping nose, jaw, etc

Health and safety, preparing the workspace etc

Insurance and accreditation information

Consultation and contraindications

Carrying out a full consultation and makeup application 

Students will be given details of suppliers and product recommendations so that they can build a professional mineral makeup kit including all the brushes and disposables needed to carry out makeup treatments.
