Thank you for visiting my personal website. I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management; Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. My fields of interest (research and teaching) include empirical Public Economics, Law and Economics, Political Economics, Labor Economics, Business Ethics, and Entrepreneurship.

Earlier, I was on the faculty at Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai and Indian Institute of Management Amritsar, and have held academic positions at Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), Chair of Political Economy & Development, University of Zurich (Switzerland), and Economic Analysis Unit, Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore. I have also had pre-doctoral stints at Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi, erstwhile Planning Commission, and Tata Motors Limited, Mumbai (in chronological order). I studied economics at Bhadrak Autonomous College (BA), University of Hyderabad (Masters), and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (PhD Thesis title: "Essays on Empirical Political Economics").
