Thank you for visiting my personal website. I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management; Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. My fields of interest include empirical Political Economics, Public Economics, Law and Economics, Labour Economics, Health Economics, and Environmental Economics.

Earlier, I was on the faculty at Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai and Indian Institute of Management Amritsar, and have held academic positions at ICRIER, University of Zurich (Switzerland), and Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore. I have also had pre-doctoral stints at Institute of Economic Growth Delhi, erstwhile Planning Commission, and Tata Motors Limited, Mumbai (in chronological order). I studied economics at Bhadrak Autonomous College (BA), University of Hyderabad (Masters), and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (PhD Thesis title: "Essays on Empirical Political Economics"). During my student days, I'd achieved state-level and university-level merit ranks, several scholarships and awards at different stages. I've been a reviewer of several international peer-reviewed economics, political science, and social science journals. I am a Research Fellow of Global Labor Organization (GLO), Essen, Germany. Since 2022, I've been an Associate Editor at two Scopus-indexed journals, namely, SN Business & Economics (subject area: public policy and institutional economics) and SN Social Sciences (subject area: education, development and social justice).
