Thank you for visiting my personal website. I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management; Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. My fields of interest include empirical Political Economics, Law and Economics, Public Economics, Labor Economics, Business Ethics, and Financial Economics.

Earlier, I was on the faculty at Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai and Indian Institute of Management Amritsar, and have held academic positions at Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), Chair of Political Economy & Development, University of Zurich (Switzerland), and Economic Analysis Unit, Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore. I have also had pre-doctoral stints at Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi, erstwhile Planning Commission, and Tata Motors Limited, Mumbai (in chronological order). I studied economics at Bhadrak Autonomous College (BA), University of Hyderabad (Masters), and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (PhD Thesis title: "Essays on Empirical Political Economics"). During my student days, I'd achieved state-level and university-level merit ranks, several scholarships and awards at different stages. I've been a reviewer of several international peer-reviewed economics, political science, and social science journals. I am a Research Fellow of Global Labor Organization (GLO), Essen, Germany. Since 2022, I've been an Associate Editor at two Scopus-indexed journals, namely, SN Business & Economics (subject area: public policy and institutional economics) and SN Social Sciences (subject area: education, development and social justice).
