Not a mushroom but NAMA will take you on a search for yooperlites if you attend this years annual NAMA foray! The Yoop foray will be held in upper Michigan from August 27th to August 30th. You will need to bring your UV light to help you locate yooperlites. Check it out and if you need help getting to Michigan (and are willing to give a report of your search for yooperites to SSMC membership) the SSMC Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications! The scholarships are primarily funded through raffle sales at regular SSMC meetings and, hopefully starting this year, at the SSMC Spring Show. Any donated items or raffle purchases are greatly appreciated; the more club members contribute to the raffle efforts, the more scholarships we can provide to our members.
