Graduate Student Researcher, Part of Human Language Technology Certificate Program
As a part of this program, I worked on story generation team under the supervision of Dr. Nanyun Peng. The story generation model generates a 5 sentence story. This project was sponsored by Amazon. I also developed an Alexa Skill for this model.

SDE Intern (June’18-Aug’18)
Developed a URL Redirect Tool. Designed end-to-end system architecture. Wrote production level code for each component (validator, config store, service) in the backend. Tool's latency maintained at 10 milliseconds thereby giving extremely fast services

Graduate Student Researcher, Part of the project SHARP (Jan’18-May’18)
I work in the SHARP team. SHARP is a collaborative effort led by Viktor Prasanna at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and David Bader at the Georgia Institute of Technology. It is focused on the software infrastructure technology area of the Hierarchical Identify Verify Exploit (HIVE) program sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
We develop novel hierarchical abstractions to represent graph algorithms, optimal memory data layouts for static and dynamic graphs and efficient linear programming based scheduling algorithms for graph processors that synergistically enable easy and efficient mapping of algorithms and data structures on a variety of heterogeneous hardware architectures.

Full-Time Summer Intern (selected based on a competitive recruitment process, May’16-June’16)
Assisted in a Research project in ‘Geometric Approximation Algorithm’ under Research Mentor Dr. Minati De. Worked on obtaining 3-factor and 4-factor approximation algorithm for a geometric set cover problem with a demand factor by using a hexagonal grid in 2D space.
