3. Research Collaborator, Promote Inc. San Francisco, California (July 2016 - January 2017)

My role at Promote was to collaborate with the data science team for ad recommendation. Promote is designed to be the ideal monetization engine for marketplaces where advertisers can promote their products making sponsored items occur as native products throughout the purchase path of consumer. My job here was to recommend advertisers keywords to bid which may increase the chances of users viewing/ purchasing the product.

4. Data Science Intern, StumbleUpon Inc. San Francisco, California USA (May 2015 - August 2015)

My role was to extract features to discriminate user perception of paid content vs. native content. Since advertisers want their product to go viral, I also worked with the team on temporal analysis of paid content s in the StumbleUpon framework. The dataset that we generated was open to researchers through a Kaggle competition with Dato (https://www.kaggle.com/c/dato-native). I was also involved in this data extraction and data cleaning. Keep stumbling and connect with me here.

5. Software Engineer at Atrenta India Pvt. Ltd.

Prior to my research at UTA I was working with the GUI team of Atrenta's latest product, Spyglass-Physical. The SpyGlass-Physical product provides early estimates of area, power, timing and rout-ability for RTL designers without the need for physical design expertise or tools. The product helps to achieve performance targets in concurrent block/SoC development processes by using a rich set of interactive implementation analysis features. I was the owner of the schematic component in GUI which enables the user to see the connections between different modules, explore the clock distribution and see various timing paths between sub modules. I was also involved in developing a 3D physical layout to enable users focus on multiple layers inside a chip and also designed an automatic GUI testing environment for Spyglass-Physical product. Atrenta was acquired by Synopsys in 2015. For more information on Atrenta click here
