My journey so far

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Krea University.

I have completed Ph.D. in Mathematics from IISER Mohali, under supervision of  Dr. Krishnendu Gongopadhyay, in 2018. Prior to joining Krea University in 2022, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IISER Bhopal, the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai and Chennai Mathematical Institute.

The broad areas of my research interest are Geometry and Topology, Group Theory. In particular, I am interested in the study of mapping class groups of surfaces, braid groups, and other geometrically interesting infinite groups.
